Plot Twist: Your Easter Weekend Just Got Better

Forget the stress—get the Easter weekend rundown you actually need (and want).

Gooood morning, Kingston! You may think you got Easter all mapped out, but we’re here to throw a curveball with some local gems you won’t want to miss. Let’s shake up your weekend plans, shall we?

The Mid-Week Skimm

Easter weekend: What’s open, what’s not
Planning your long weekend? For a rundown of what’s open and closed, check out the Kingstonist guide. (Kingstonist)***

Garbage day delays (and more)
Heads up, Kingston — Easter weekend means shifted schedules across the city. There’s no garbage, green bin, or recycling pickup on Friday, April 18 or Monday, April 21. Transit and office hours are also impacted along with other services. Make sure you’re in the know before you head to the curb or catch a bus. (City of Kingston)

Walk for a cause: Steps for Life returns
The annual Steps for Life walk is set to take place in Kingston, aiming to raise awareness and funds for those affected by work-related deaths, injuries, and illnesses. Organized by Threads of Life, the event brings the community together to support families and promote workplace safety. Participants can register online and join the walk to make a meaningful impact.
