Alan Code Picks Up KCFF Award for Dust in the Gate
Alan Code swung by KCFF HQ to collect the shiny new trophy for his award-winning film Dust in the Gate. This new award, part of the KCFF DOC FACTORY program, came with 500 dollars cash and a sparkling trophy from Visual Menace. Kingston band’s van broken into after album release show
After celebrating their album release at The Buckle, local alt-country band Good Co. returned to find their van broken into at the Chown Memorial parking garage—losing over 7,500 dollars in sentimental and essential gear. Police have released suspect photos and are seeking tips. (The Whig)

LaSalle Causeway Lift Set for Saturday, April 19
The LaSalle Causeway will be closed for its first 2025 lift on Saturday, April 19, from 9 a.m. to midnight, causing potential delays on Montreal Street, John Counter Boulevard, Highway 15, and Waaban Crossing. Check for updates and live traffic feeds here. (City of Kingston)
