Trail Time + Toes on Point

Kingston Botanical Market and more

Gooood morning, Kingston! Mondays — love 'em or hate 'em, they’re here to stay. Grab your coffee, take a breath, and enjoy this cute picture to kickstart your week!

The results are in!

On Friday, we asked: “If you found an old note, would you try to track down the writer?”

Turns out, we’ve got a lot of note-chasing romantics out there—48% said they’d absolutely try to find the writer.
Another 44% are maybe in... if the note had some serious intrigue.
Meanwhile, 5% said it’s not worth the effort, and 3% would just keep it as a cool little keepsake.

One mystery. Lots of curious minds.

Weekend Wrap-Up

Kingston Lowers Speed Limits for Safer Streets
Speed limits are dropping across Kingston — 40 km/h in most residential areas, and 30 km/h near schools. New ‘AREA’ signs mark the changes, aimed at improving road safety. See what’s changing in your neighbourhood with this interactive map. (City of Kingston)

Free flags, eh?
Kingston City Council just gave the go-ahead to hand out free Canadian flags to residents—because what’s more Canadian than free stuff and flags? The City is ordering 300 flags to be distributed later this month at various facilities on a first-come, one-per-household basis. Keep an eye on the City's website and socials for pickup updates.
